Restaurant Fixed Booking Deposit, Cancellation and Refund Terms

These special terms apply only to Pglemaps restaurant bookings. They prevail over any conflicting wording in the general payment, booking deposit and refund terms.
1. Fixed per-person Booking Deposit
- The restaurant Booking Deposit is fixed at USD 1.50 per person in the total party. Adults and children are counted equally.
- For example, 7 adults and 1 child are a party of 8, so the Booking Deposit is USD 12.00.
- The selected menu prices and quantities are estimates only and do not determine the Booking Deposit.
- Items additionally ordered on site are included in the restaurant's final bill.
- The User must ask the Merchant to deduct the prepaid Booking Deposit from the final bill, and the Merchant must not charge that deposit again.
- The general provisions concerning percentage-based deposits, Total Product Price, and Product Balance do not apply to restaurant bookings. The amount payable on site is the restaurant's final bill minus the prepaid Booking Deposit.
- The restaurant shown at checkout is responsible for food sales and on-site fulfilment. Pglemaps provides booking brokerage and Booking Deposit payment/refund processing.
2. Cancellation and refund
The percentages below apply to the fixed Booking Deposit actually approved for the total party. Tiers use calendar days between the cancellation date and booking date in Korea Standard Time (KST).

- If Merchant or Pglemaps fault, duplicate charging, failure to provide the service, or a payment error is confirmed, 100% of the approved Booking Deposit is refunded.
- A refund is requested through PayVerse in the original payment currency, USD, to the original payment method. Posting time depends on the card issuer and payment provider.
3. Required consent
Before payment, the User must confirm the total party including adults and children, the fixed USD 1.50 per-person Booking Deposit, that the selected menu is an estimate, on-site additions and the final bill, the duty to request deduction of the deposit, and the refund schedule. If the party size changes, the prior consent expires and the changed Booking Deposit must be accepted again.
