Review, Ranking and Online Interface Policy

1. Eligibility and labels
Only a user whose Pglemaps booking and service completion have been verified may post one review for that booking. Such reviews are labelled as verified bookings. Unverified samples or reviews written by a merchant are not published. Any points, discount or free benefit offered for a review must be disclosed next to it; undisclosed incentivised reviews are prohibited. Reviews must be factual and must not contain another person's private, health, identity-document or payment information.
2. Publication, removal and retention
Reviews normally appear after submission. We may hide or remove content involving exposed personal data, illegality, abuse or hate, fabrication, advertising or spam, infringement, or a safety risk. Authors may request correction or removal through support. On account deletion, author identifiers and review media enter the deletion workflow; non-identifying text may be retained only where justified for transaction, dispute and review-integrity purposes. Every hide, restore or removal records a reason code, decision-maker, time and before/after status in an immutable audit trail. Medical treatment guarantees, misleading patient testimonials and unauthorised before/after images receive separate pre-publication moderation.
3. Reports and appeals
Merchants and users may email pglemap@gmail.com with the review URL, reason and minimum necessary evidence. A merchant report does not automatically remove a review. We aim to begin initial review within 7 business days and, except for complex rights disputes, notify a keep, hide or remove decision within 14 business days. Either party may appeal once within 30 days after notice. A different reviewer should decide the appeal within 14 business days and provide reasons. Clearly unlawful content or an urgent privacy or physical-safety risk may be hidden temporarily while reviewed, with a final decision and appeal opportunity still provided.
4. Ratings and ordering
The default merchant list is “All”; users may choose rating, review-count or distance ordering. Ratings are the arithmetic mean and count of visible verified-booking reviews. Hidden, removed and unverified sample reviews are excluded. Ties use the latest review time and then a stable merchant identifier. Distance is an estimate between a user-selected or permitted origin and the merchant's public coordinates. If advertising, affiliation or commission affects visibility or rank, an adjacent “Ad” or “Affiliate” label and the influence criteria are disclosed; without such a label, paid preference is not applied.
5. Interface principles
Paid add-ons are not preselected. Before the final action, the total, booking deposit, balance and cancellation rules are shown clearly. We do not deliberately hide rejection or cancellation, use false scarcity or fake countdowns, repeatedly pressure payment, or use confusing double negatives. Report a suspected interface issue with its URL and screenshot to support.
